Papercut Creatureby =Dragons-Garden

This was my first papercutting experiment. I am very pleased with how it turned out and very proud of myself for not ripping off the paper hehe.

It took me little longer than 16h to cut it out with the hobby knife and the creature is around 12cm tall and 10cm wide.

I glued some sparkly stones for the eyes and after the paper was cut I colored it in with a black pencil.

Some swirly parts were so tiny and hard to cut but I am very happy that I made it.

Your creatures are so cute. Very nice cutting! All those swirls must have been difficult. Did you use some kind of stiff paper or cardstock? I'm surprised the paper stays up like that while you hold it up.

Thank you! :) I just used the regular paper that is also used for printers and all around office stuff. It was very thin for a papercut, I was so scared it will rip at some point...luckily it did not. :P As for the picture I was actually holding it upside down and then digitaly flipped the picture around that is why it looks like it is standing up. :D
